Red Line provides a complete line of drivetrain lubricants which are optimized for differential, transmission, or transaxle use over a wide range of temperatures. Proper selection depends upon the manufacturers requirements and whether the application is for passenger automotive, commercial, or racing use. Red Line Gear Oils contain polyol ester basestocks to provide excellent lubrication even under extreme conditions of high-loading and high- temperatures-their natural lubricity provide excellent slipperiness which reduces the sliding friction in hypoid gears to reduce wear and temperatures. The synthetic basestocks have a natural multigrade property, so large amounts of unstable thickeners are not required to manufacture our gear oils, which means that Red Line Gear Oils will provide a stable viscosity for even extended periods of use. Red Line also manufactures gear oils which can be used in limited-slip differentials without the use of additional friction modifiers.
I’ve tried several gear oils, but Red Line’s 75W90 is definitely my favorite. The non-slip feature makes a noticeable difference while driving. Glad I picked up the 12-pack!

Solid performance for the price
This Red Line synthetic gear oil is solid for the price. It's been running smoothly in my gear set, but I had to check the compatibility for my vehicle first. The pack of 12 is useful for regular maintenance!

Decent but didn’t meet expectations
I was excited to try the Red Line gear oil due to its good reputation, but it didn’t perform as expected in my old car. It’s fine, just didn’t see a massive difference in performance. Packaging was slightly dented upon arrival too.

Not the best experience
Unfortunately, the bottle I received was damaged in shipping, and I lost some oil. I like the product itself, but I think they need to improve their packaging. The oil works fine when I get it in!

Good quality but a bit pricey
This synthetic gear oil does the job well, and I love the non-slip feature. However, I think I could find similar quality for a lower price elsewhere. Still, it comes in a convenient pack of 12 which is great!
