The REESE Weight Distribution Shank Hitch Bar distributes tow-load weight evenly for a safer, smoother journey. Heavy-duty cast steel construction shank with a rustproof powder-coated finish is machined for a tighter fit. The REESE weight distribution hitch works with any weight distributing bolt-together head assembly and is compatible with all round-bar and trunnion-style trailer hitches. Rated for up to 16,000 lbs. GTW and 1,600 lbs. TW. Seven vertical mounting holes with groove slot lets you add tow accessories.
While the hitch bar itself is pretty good, I was disappointed with how long it took to arrive. The quality of the shank is nice, and the functionalities are great. Just wish the shipping had been faster so I could use it sooner!

Perfect for Heavy Loads!

Good Shank, Minor Issues
This hitch bar works well, but I had a bit of a hassle with the installation instructions. They weren't super clear, and it took me longer than expected to get it right. Once I figured it out, though, it does its job nicely with a 4-7/8" drop. Just be patient!
