2.5 Alloy steel shifter extension compatible with all 1987-1995 Wrangler YJs for both the transfer case shifter and the manual transmission shifter. Also compatible with 1980-1986 CJ5s, CJ7s and CJ8 Scramblers on the manual transmission shifter. If you installed a transfer case drop, body lift or just dont like how short the factory shifters are, this is what you need. Unlike others for sale this one is specifically designed for CJs and YJs. Major aftermarket parts catalogs sell shifter extensions that are a poor fit, with threads that are too short both internally and externally, theyre smaller diameter than the factory shifter and theyre made from aluminum. This corrects all those problems. These are made from high strength alloy steel, they match the diameter of the shifters perfectly and both the internal and external threads are the right length so they will thread all the way flush with the shifter and your shifter knob will fit without modification. They are black zinc plated for corrosion resistance and are ready to install. The threads are 3/8-16. Sold by a small business in the US and we actually use these parts ourselves.
The Region shifter extension is good, but I felt like I paid a bit too much for it. It does the job with my Scrambler, and the height makes a noticeable difference when driving off-road. Just not sure if it’s worth the price.

Great Extension for My Jeep
I installed this Region shifter extension in my 1993 Wrangler YJ and it fits perfectly. It really makes shifting so much more comfortable, especially when I'm off-roading. The build quality is solid; I’m impressed!

Arrived Damaged
Unfortunately, my shifter extension came with some dents and scratches. I reached out to customer service, but I'm still waiting for a response. Very disappointed because I was excited to try it out on my Jeep. Hoping for a quicker resolution!

Good but Needs Better Instructions
This shifter extension works fine with my CJ7, but the installation instructions were a bit unclear. It took me a while to figure it out, but once it was on, I loved the extra height for shifting. Just be patient during install!
