I installed these in my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 for a little more power, and they definitely delivered that! However, I noticed they can be a bit noisy when driving at certain speeds. Not a dealbreaker for me, but something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sounds while driving.

Great Upgrade for My Ram 1500
I swapped this Richmond Gear ring and pinion into my 2006 Dodge Ram 1500, and it’s made a noticeable difference in performance. The 3.91 ratio is perfect for towing, and the gears feel super solid. Installation was straightforward with the right tools, but a little tricky due to spacing. Definitely worth the investment!

Good, but installation took time
The Richmond Gear [****] RP set works well in my ’98 Dakota. I love the improved acceleration, but I struggled a bit with the installation instructions — they could have been clearer. After some trial and error, I got it done, and now I’m happy with the performance boost.
