The Rightline Gear Moki Ascent Folding Door Step provides easy access to your vehicles roof. Simply hook this foldable door step over the u-shaped door latch in each of your vehicles doors. The Ascent can be used to load and strap down car-top cargo bags and boxes; canoes, kayaks, and SUPs; skis and snowboards; and bikes. You can even use it to wash your vehicles roof. The Ascent provides a comfortable platform for both feet and allows for a balanced standing position. Our patented Ascent Step eliminates dirty shoes on vehicle seats and the need for step stools or ladders. If you are short or your vehicle is tall, the Moki Ascent Door Step makes getting your gear on or off your roof a breeze!
While the Rightline step is a neat idea, it felt a bit flimsy when I first used it. I was worried it might not hold up well over time. The convenience it offers is great, but I wish the build was a bit tougher.

Perfect for my SUV!

Great for reaching the roof!
I bought the Rightline Gear Moki Ascent step to help me access my car roof for camping gear. It's super sturdy and folds up nicely for storage. The size is just right at 8.75 by 3 inches, making it easy to handle. Really glad I saw this on Shark Tank!

Does the job, but has some quirks
The folding design of the Moki step is clever and it does help me reach the roof. However, I had some trouble getting it to sit securely on my car door. Once I figured it out, it worked fine, but not the easiest thing to set up at first.

Convenient and functional
This step is super helpful for accessing the roof of my car, especially when loading kayaks. At 5.25 inches tall, it's just the right height. It folds up neatly, which is a bonus for storage. I'd say it’s worth it if you do a lot of outdoor activities!
