The lightweight Gold mini-works racing chains feature chromoly steel construction with seamless rollers and bushings, and oversized special alloy pins for added strength. All components are heat-treated using RK's exclusive HIT (Heat Induction Transfer) process. Tensile strength is 5000 pounds per feet.
The chain itself is great — it runs smoothly and feels solid. I did have a little trouble with the packaging when it arrived; it was a bit crushed which made me worried about the chain. But thankfully, everything was intact and working well!

Disappointed with durability
I was excited to install this gold MX chain since I've heard good things, but after just a few rides, it started to show signs of wear much quicker than I expected. It looks nice, but I'm not sure it can handle the rough terrain like I hoped. Probably won't purchase again.
