RKM series chains are made in Malaysia with Japanese steel, meeting all Japanese specs with two-point riveted pins and curled bushings. Pre-stressed and pre-stretched for better performance with fewer adjustments, they outperform most of the competitions heavy-duty chains. Specifications: Pin length in mm: 20.35mm. Maximum wear life index: 200. Maximum tensile in pounds/feet: 7700 pounds/feet. Master link type: Clip. Weight in pounds per 100 links: 3.85 pounds. Max cc: 500cc street/NA-off-road. 19.2 links per foot. 15.875mm pin to pin center.
The RK Racing 525 series chain is a decent option for my dirt bike but I found it a bit heavier than I expected. It works well, though, and the installation was straightforward. Just wish it was a tad lighter!

Not What I Expected
This chain arrived with a small dent, which was disappointing right out of the box. While it works okay, I expected better quality from RK Racing. I’ll think twice before buying again.
