Rock Slide Engineerings EZ Rack is a ultimate solution to store additional fuel or accessories. This product comes with 2 plates made of 11-gauge steel and a 2-inch ratchet strap. We use a state-of-the-art automated powder coating system to acid etch the raw base material in preparation for the textured black topcoat. It will fit any size tire and the weight capacity is determined by what your tire carrier is rated.
This spare tire mount kit from Rock Slide Engineering is pretty versatile and works with all tire sizes, which was a big plus for me. I really like the robust steel design, but I was disappointed with the delivery time. It took longer than expected to arrive, which was frustrating since I needed it for a trip.

Disappointed with the quality
I really wanted to like this spare tire mount, but it arrived with some dents and scratches on the steel. I expected better quality from Rock Slide Engineering. After installing it, the mount also felt a bit wobbly even with the tire secured. Not what I hoped for.

Solid construction, but installation was tricky
I bought the Rock Slide Engineering EZ Rack Kit for my spare tire, and I have to say it feels really sturdy, made of quality steel. However, the installation instructions could’ve been clearer; it took me a bit longer to figure it out than I’d hoped. Still, it fits my tire size perfectly, so I'm happy overall!
