I’m happy with the performance of this Rough Country rack and pinion for my Ranger XP, but I expected a little more from the heavy-duty claim. It's not bad, just not as tough as I hoped. Still a solid replacement though!

Quality seems good but arrived damaged
I was excited to install this heavy-duty rack and pinion on my Polaris Ranger, but it arrived with a few dents. It still works fine, but I wasn’t pleased with the packaging. I think the quality of the part itself is nice once I got it on. Just a bummer about the damage.

Decent product but installation was tricky
The rack and pinion works well for my Polaris Ranger XP 900, but the installation instructions weren't very clear. It took me a few attempts to get it right. Once installed, everything functions as expected, but I was a bit frustrated at first.
