With their ball-in joint, massive 2.5 diameter body, and huge 1.25 threads, these X-Flex Joints offer considerable range, strength, and safety for off-road applications. Upper Arm X-Flex Joints pivot up to twenty degrees, while Lower Arm Joints are capable of a staggering thirty-five degrees pivot range.
The Rough Country X-Flex control arms seem to be built well and perform great on my '08 Wrangler. However, the installation took longer than expected because the instructions weren't super clear. Once I figured it out, they worked perfectly! Just be ready for some trial and error during setup.

Disappointed with the durability
I really wanted to love these control arms, but they didn't hold up as I expected. I had them installed on my 2010 Jeep Wrangler, and after just a few months, one of them started to bend. I thought they would be tougher given the brand, but I’m not impressed with the quality.
