This SCC Rubber Tightener is for use with select Shur Super Z LT and Super Z6 traction tire chains. Replace your lost or broken tighteners, or you may want to keep a spare set on hand just in case. It is sold in pairs.
I was excited to use these chains, but upon arrival, one of the rubber tighteners was already damaged. It took too long to set them up, and they didn’t fit my tires well. Unfortunately, this was a letdown for my winter prep!

Solid traction for winter driving
I bought these SCC tire traction chains for my SUV before a trip to the mountains, and they really did the trick! The rubber tightener kept everything secure, plus they’re easy to put on and take off. Definitely a lifesaver during that heavy snow!

Okay, but could be better
The tire traction chains worked alright, but I struggled a bit with the installation. The rubber tightener wasn't the easiest to manage. Overall, they perform well on icy roads, but I expected a more straightforward setup.
