This fully automatic unit is compatible with 12V and 24V standard, AGM, gel, deep-cycle, and start-stop batteries. It features a powerful 250A 12V engine start and a 125A 24V engine start, which is strong enough to start cars, trucks, SUVs, boats, and RVs. The 40A 12V and 20A 24V boost modes work to quickly bring even deeply discharged batteries back to life. The SC1352 also features 6A2A charge/maintain rates. This charger features robust construction with a heavy-duty transformer, a durable metal case, solid wheels, and a sturdy retractable handle that doubles as built in storage for the units color-coded clamps. Fully automatic, the SC1352 employs multi-stage charging, auto voltage detection, bad battery detection, float mode monitoring, and reverse hook-up protection. Other features include a scrolling digital display, advanced touch-pad controls, and 6-foot power and booster cables for a 12-foot total reach.
While the Schumacher SC1352 works well once you get it going, I struggled a bit with the instructions. It took a few tries to figure out how to set it up correctly. But once I did, it jumped my truck easily, so I’m satisfied with the performance.

Heavy-duty but tricky to move
The build quality of this jump starter is solid, and it's definitely heavy-duty. However, I found it challenging to maneuver around my garage because it’s quite bulky. The wheels help, but I wish it was lighter. It charges well though!
