What a relief! My old AC compressor was failing, and after replacing it with this SCITOO model, my 2004 Escape's AC is now ice cold. Installation wasn't too hard, and I'm happy to be cool again during summer drives.

Stopped working after a few weeks
I was really hopeful about this SCITOO AC compressor, but it just stopped working after a few weeks of use in my 2003 Escape. I'm really disappointed since it was cooling great at first. Not sure if I got a faulty unit.

For the price, this AC compressor is a solid choice for my Ford Escape. It cools the car quickly and was cheaper than other brands. I do wish the packaging was a bit better; it arrived with some dents, but thankfully the unit itself was fine.

Difficult to install without help
I bought this for my Mazda Tribute and must say, the installation was tougher than I anticipated. The instructions weren't very clear, so I had to call a buddy to help out. Once it was in, it worked great, though!
