I replaced my old alternator with this Scitoo one for my 2016 Touareg. Initially, it was quiet and worked fine, providing 12V and 230 amps as advertised. But after a month, it started making a strange noise. Not sure if I got a lemon or if this is typical.

Solid performance but took a while to arrive
