The Seachem polishing pads definitely enhance water clarity in my tank. However, I think they are a bit expensive for what you get. They last a decent amount of time, but I feel there are alternatives that might do just as well for less.

Good, but have some quirks
These polishing pads work well for my Tidal 55 filter, but I found them a bit tricky to fit in initially. Once I got them in place, the water quality improved a lot! Just wish the instructions were clearer.

Not worth the trouble
I had high hopes for these pads, but one of them arrived damaged and the other just didn't fit properly in my filter. I ended up not using them, which was disappointing. Wouldn't buy again.
