Color Coat is a specialty elastomeric coating formulated to restore or change the color of most vinyl surfaces, flexible and rigid plastics, carpet and velour. Color Coat is not a dye, but a fade resistant flexible and permanent coating.
I used the Sem Products Palomino color coat on my car and it turned out beautifully. The 12 oz can was just the right size for touch-ups. The application was smooth, and it dried with a nice finish!

Not very impressed with the finish
I had high hopes for the Sem Products Palomino coat, but it left a bit of a rough texture. I followed the instructions, but the final look wasn’t as smooth as I wanted. Maybe I just didn’t prep properly?

Decent coat, but had a few issues
The Palomino color coat from Sem Products worked well for the most part. The color matched what I expected, but I had trouble getting an even spray. Had to do a lot of back and forth to fix some spots. Not bad, but a bit frustrating.

Good color, but tough to apply evenly
While I really like the color of this Sem Products coat, I found it tricky to apply without drips. I’m not a pro, so maybe it’s just me. The 12 oz can is handy, but I used it up faster than I thought. Could be better!

Perfect for my DIY furniture
