Decent, but installation instructions were unclear
The lift supports work fine for my 2005 Mini Cooper, but I struggled a bit with the installation. The instructions weren't very detailed, so I had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to get it right. Once they were in, they do the job well and hold the hatch securely.

Good performance but arrived late
I’m satisfied with how these gas springs function in my 2013 Mini Cooper. They lift the hatch smoothly and feel sturdy. My only complaint is that they took longer to arrive than expected. I wish shipping had been faster, but they’re working great now that they’re installed!

Not as strong as expected
I was excited to install these lift supports on my 2007 Mini Cooper, but they don’t seem as strong as I thought they would be. The hatch doesn’t stay up as well as I hoped. They function, but I might look for something with a bit more lift for my needs.
