The Sierra 18-6426 Yamaha Outboard Starter is a replacement for Yamaha part number 68F-81800-01-00. Fits LZ150 (2000-2005), LZ200 (2000-2011), VZ150 (2000-2011), VZ175 (2001-2011), VZ200 (2001-2004), Z150 (2000-2005), Z175 (2001-2005) and Z200 (2000-2011). Each Sierra product meets or exceeds the original equipment part it replaces.
The Sierra starter works fine for my Yamaha, but I struggled a bit with the installation instructions. They weren't super clear, and it took longer than expected. Once it was in, though, it started like a dream!

Stopped working after a few uses
I really wanted to love this Sierra outboard starter, but it failed after just a couple of uses. I followed all the instructions, but it wouldn't crank my Yamaha. I’m really disappointed. I thought this would be a solid investment.
