Removes brake fluid, grease, dirt and soot from brake linings, cylinders, springs, drums, C.V. joints, clutches and discs. A highly flammable cleaner and degreaser that can also be used as engine starter. This product evaporates quickly leaving no residue. Low VOC formula, highly flammable. Not for sale in CA, CO CT, DE, MD, MI, NH, NY, OH, RI and UT.
This SQ brake cleaner does a good job of removing grease and grime on my brake parts, but I felt it was a bit overpriced for the size. It’s effective, but I wish it were a little cheaper for what you get. Still, it’s solid enough for quick jobs.

Effective cleaner for my garage
I bought the SQ brake cleaner for my garage and it works like a charm. The non-chlorinated formula is a big plus, and I love that it comes in a convenient 14.5 oz can. Just be careful if you're in CA or any of the other restricted states!

Not happy with my purchase
I received the SQ brake cleaner but it arrived with a dented can. I was disappointed since I needed it right away. The cleaner itself works, but I didn't appreciate the packaging issue. I guess I’ll try again next time, but this wasn’t a great start.
