I had high hopes for this Standard Motor Products switch, but it failed after just a few weeks of use. The light wouldn’t turn on at times, which was frustrating. I’m not sure if I just got a faulty unit, but I wouldn't recommend it based on my experience. Now I need to find another switch.

A Must-Have for My Old Car
I recently installed the Standard Motor Products DS173T door jamb switch on my 2004 sedan, and it's been a great replacement. The switch has a sturdy build that really feels like it’ll last and it’s been working perfectly to trigger the dome light. Installation was a breeze, too—only took me about 10 minutes!

Good Switch, Just a Bit Slow to Ship
The door jamb switch is decent and works as described, but it took longer to arrive than I expected. Once it got here, the installation was straightforward, and it fits well in my older model Honda. Just a heads up, the packaging was a bit flimsy, but luckily, the switch arrived undamaged.
