I bought these Suspa struts for my toolbox lid, and they work great. Each strut with 45 lb force is perfect for lifting it smoothly, no more slamming down! The quality feels solid, and I love that they're made in the USA.

Arrived damaged, not impressed
Unfortunately, one of the struts arrived with a dent, which I wasn't expecting. I needed them for my project, so I used the other one, but having a damaged product is disappointing. Hopefully, the replacement will be better.

Decent, but installation was tricky
These struts have a good force rating, but I had a hard time installing them. The instructions weren't very clear, which made it a bit frustrating. Once I got them on though, they perform well enough for my needs.
