Gas Charged Lift Supports are energy storage devices which create force by compressing gas inside a cylinder. Unless shown as a universal, each Lift support listed in this Amazon item is specifically manufactured to OEM specifications for the listed application. Each support is tested to perform as well as the original units and in many cases to exceed the manufacturers specification. Lift Supports lose pressure over time, even sitting on shelves in most auto parts stores and many of the inventory liquidators on the web. *Please Note* If your existing part number does not exactly match this part number internal components could be different.
The SUSPA gas props work fine for my tonneau cover, but I wasn't thrilled with the delivery time. It took longer than expected to arrive, and the packaging was a bit beat up. Once I installed them, they performed well with good lift strength, though.

One prop failed quickly
I was excited to put these SUSPA props on my camper's rear window, but unfortunately, one of them stopped working after just a few weeks. It was easy to install, but I expected it to last longer. I will have to reach out for a replacement.

Great upgrade for my camper!
I recently replaced the old gas props on my camper with these SUSPA C16 13334 ones, and I'm really happy with them. The 87 lbs of force per prop is just right for my rear window, making it super easy to lift and close. Installation was a breeze, and they seem quite durable!
