EMPI's standard swing axle boots are made of black accordion-style urethane and are available in many different colors. The boots fit all swingaxle VWs including 1954 to 1968 Beetle and Karmann Ghia 1955 to 1967 Bus and 1962 to 1968 Type 3 models (Notchback Squareback Fastback). The boot kit includes steel hose clamps and all hardware needed for installation. Swing axle boots slip over the lip of the transaxle side cover and clamp down on the axle tube allowing the proper range of motion in the rear end while still containing all the gear oil in the axle tube.Swing Axle Boot Black for Beetle & Ghia 48-68 Pair
