Our units are designed for brake controls manufactured with electrical wiring mounted on the back of the unit, otherwise known as a pigtail. Wiring harnesses must be spliced into the existing pigtail to allow the vehicle specific plug to be installed.
Just added this brake controller harness to my Tundra, and it worked like a charm! It connects easily, and my braking system is now so much more reliable when towing heavy loads. Definitely worth it if you tow often.

Does the job but took some time
This harness works well for my Tundra, but I found the installation instructions a bit tricky. It took longer than I expected to figure out the wiring, but now that it’s set up, it’s been functioning perfectly with my trailer.

Arrived Damaged, but works
Unfortunately, the harness came with some scuff marks, but I needed it ASAP for a towing trip. It still works fine after installation on my Tacoma. Just a bit disappointed in the delivery condition.

Solid Quality but missing some details
The Tekonsha harness is built well and fits my Toyota Tacoma nicely. However, I wish the packaging included more information about compatibility with specific brake controllers. It took a little trial and error to get it right.
