Hi-Heat Coating engineered to protect Thermo-Tec exhaust wrap from abrasion, harmful fluids and elements such as dirt, grime, and water. The coating can withstand temperatures up to 2000 degrees F when used in conjunction with genuine Thermo-Tec Exhaust Insulation Wraps.
After using the Thermo-Tec 12001, I can say it’s a solid product! I applied it to my grill and it held up under high heat perfectly. The black color looks great too! Will definitely buy again.

A bit tricky to apply
While the Thermo-Tec coating really protects against heat, I found the application process a bit challenging. The spray can was not as precise as I hoped. But once it was on, it performed great!

Fantastic product for under the hood

Great heat resistance for my projects
I used the Thermo-Tec 12001 black high heat coating on my exhaust system and it works wonders! It withstands high temperatures and has a nice finish. Just be careful when applying it, as it can get messy!
