The thermostat housing I got was compatible with my 2006 Explorer, but the instructions were a bit unclear. I managed to figure it out, but it took a bit longer than expected. Overall, it seems to be functioning well now!

Stopped working after a few months
I installed this on my 2005 Mercury Mountaineer and it worked fine for about three months, then it started leaking. Really disappointed, as I expected better durability for the price. Wouldn't recommend based on my experience.

Good product but poor packaging
I received the thermostat housing for my 2008 Explorer, and while it fit well, the packaging arrived a bit damaged. Thankfully, the part was okay. Just wish they’d improve the shipping materials next time!
