Designed for use on light trucks and SUVs, the Ranger ATR from Thunderer is a tough all-terrain tire thats also pre-drilled for easy installation of studs in extreme winter weather. The Ranger ATR features an optimized rubber compound for off-road traction, full nylon overwrap layer in the plies, and a pattern of 3D sipes and rigid tread blocks for solid wet-weather traction. Additionally, the Ranger ATR is backed by an up to 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life depending on the tires size.
I was really excited about the Thunderer Ranger ATR tires, but one of them arrived with a small puncture. Thankfully, I got it replaced, but it was a hassle. Just make sure to check them closely when they arrive!

Great traction but noisy on the highway
These tires grip great on all terrains as advertised. However, I found them to be a bit noisy when driving at higher speeds on the highway. I guess it’s a trade-off for the off-road capability. Still, they look tough!

Decent tires but delivery was slow
I’ve driven my truck on these Thunderer tires for a few weeks, and while they perform well, I was disappointed with how long they took to arrive. The ride is smooth on highways, but I expected a faster shipping process for such a big purchase.

Solid performance on rugged terrain
These Thunderer Ranger ATR tires are fantastic! They handle really well on rough and rocky surfaces, giving me the confidence I need while off-roading. The 275/65R18 size fits perfectly on my SUV, and they look great too!
