I bought these for my compact car and they worked pretty well. They seem heavy-duty and the rubber material is pretty durable. Just a tad tricky to tighten down completely, but they do the job!

These straps are advertised for heavy-duty use, but I'm not so sure. They struggled a bit with my larger vehicle. The hooks are fine, but I expected more strength based on the description. Might work better for smaller cars.
