I recently installed this transmission crossmember conversion on my 1964 Chevy Impala to fit a 700R4, and it fits like a glove. The construction feels sturdy, and I appreciate the extra clearance it provides. Definitely made my swap easier and cleaner!

Not great quality control
I was excited to install this in my 1960 Impala, but it arrived with a few dents and scratches. The fitment wasn't perfect either. I ended up having to modify it to get it in place. I expected better for the price, honestly.

Decent, but some assembly issues
The crossmember works well with my 4L60E in my '63 Impala, but I did run into some confusion with the instructions. They could’ve been clearer! Once I figured it out, it mounted just fine, but it added some extra time to my project.
