Solid Upgrade for My Powerglide
I recently installed the Transmission Specialties 2553 deep aluminum pan on my Powerglide, and it looks and performs great! The extra capacity helps keep the transmission cool during long drives, and the aluminum construction feels durable. Really glad I made this purchase!

Decent but had some hiccups
The Transmission Specialties 2553 pan is good, but the installation instructions could’ve been clearer. I had to do some trial and error to get it right. Once it was on, though, it does a nice job of keeping my transmission fluid stable. Just wish the setup was smoother!

Looks Great but Not Perfect
I love the look of the deep aluminum pan from Transmission Specialties, but it didn’t fit my Powerglide as well as I hoped. There was a slight leak after installation, which was frustrating. I managed to fix it, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re considering this product.
