The Tusk Steering Rack Tie Rod Kit contains tie rod end and shaft that connects to the steering rack as well as the outer tie rod end, boot and the required hardware for one side.
I installed this Tusk steering rack tie rod kit on my 2018 Can-Am Commander Max 1000 XT, and the difference is noticeable! The steering feels much more responsive now. The build quality is solid, and the installation was straightforward with the right tools. Definitely a worthy upgrade if you want better handling in rough terrain!

Good Kit, But a Bit Confusing to Install
The Tusk tie rod kit works well for my 2016 Commander Max, but I found the installation instructions a little unclear. It took me a few extra hours to figure it out. Once it was on, though, the steering was much tighter and more accurate. Just be prepared for a slightly challenging install!

Disappointed with the Quality
I had high hopes for this Tusk kit, but after only a few rides on my 2015 Can-Am Commander Max 1000 XT, the tie rods started to bend. I expected better durability considering the price. I wish I could've loved this product, but I can't recommend it based on my experience.
