The cooling fan assembly is an essential part of your vehicles cooling system. It must complement the rest of the cooling system by efficiently cooling the radiator and/or condenser. Failure in the cooling system result in engine overheat and may lead to permanent engine and/or transmission damage. TYC cooling fan motors use high grade ball bearings, magnets and carbon brushes that allows them to be rated for 2000 hours of trouble-free operation. To ensure durability, each cooling fan design is run through tests like: Corrosion resistance, endurance, moisture, torsion and, vibration.
After installing this TYC fan assembly in my Kia, it was quiet at first but started making loud noises after a few weeks. Not sure if I got a faulty product or what, but it’s disappointing.

Perfect replacement for my old fan
This fan assembly was a breeze to install in my 2015 Optima. It was just what I needed to replace the old one. Cooling performance is excellent and it even seems to run quieter than the original!

Good but delivery was slow
The fan assembly itself is solid and easy to install. However, it took longer than expected to arrive. I was worried it wouldn't get here in time for my repair, but thankfully it did. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product.

Installation instructions could be better
The TYC cooling fan assembly works fine, but the instructions were a bit vague. I had to figure out a few things on my own. Once I got it installed, it performs well, but some clearer guidance would have helped.
