Positions alternator just above the intake, between passenger side valve cover and water outlet. Designed to mount GM Delco alternators on S/B Fits Chevy Fits V8 using 55- 68 short style water pumps.
The bracket fits well on my small block Chevy, but I noticed a small scratch on the chrome when it arrived. It still works great and does its job, but I wish it had come in perfect condition. A bit disappointing.

Not What I Expected
I had high hopes for this chrome bracket, but it didn't align properly with my setup. Had to modify it a bit to make it work with my small block Chevy. It does look good, but the fit was off which was frustrating.
