Victron Energy Argodiode Battery Isolators allow simultaneous charging of two or more batteries from one alternator, without connecting the batteries together. Discharging the accessory battery for example will not result in also discharging the starter battery. Low voltage drop due to the use of high efficiency Schottky diodes.
I’ve been using the Victron Energy battery isolator in my camper for a few weeks now. It’s great knowing that I can charge two batteries simultaneously without issue. The 80 amp capacity gives me plenty of power for all my needs while camping. Highly satisfied!

Solid performance for dual battery setups

Decent isolator, some installation hiccups
The Victron isolator works well once installed, but I found the instructions a bit confusing at first. It took a while to figure out the wiring, but now that it’s set up, I’m happy with how it manages my 2 batteries. Just be patient with the install.

Not as durable as I hoped
