DescriptionVP CI1 Hi-Performance Diesel Engine Oil SAE 5W-40 is formulated with outstanding high viscosity index synthetic base oils that provides excellent high and low-temperature protection to high-performance diesel race engines. This oil also exhibits advanced heavy load film strength for high-output turbo and non-turbo diesel race engines. The high-performance diesel engine oil provides high levels of ZDDP and an aggressive detergent dispersant and anti-oxidant package to protect oil thickening and engine deposits. Its application includes high-performance diesel race engines as well as tow vehicles. Using this synthetic engine oil allows for maximum torque and horse power. Do not mix oil additive supplements with this engine oil. VP Diesel Hi-Performance Engine Oil is not designed to be used with catalytic converters.
This diesel race engine oil works well, and I've noticed improved performance. However, the shipping took longer than expected, which was a bit frustrating. I just wish they could improve their delivery service!

Not Impressed with This Oil
I had high hopes for this VP Racing Fuels oil due to its claims, but it didn't live up to expectations. My engine didn't feel as responsive as I’d hoped, and I noticed some knocking. Maybe I got a bad batch, but I won't be buying it again.

Great Oil for My Diesel Truck
I've been using VP Racing Fuels CI-1 for my diesel truck, and it really shows. The SAE 5W-40 viscosity provides excellent performance in all conditions. My engine runs smoother and quieter now. Definitely a good choice for serious diesel enthusiasts!
