Ignition knock sensors detect engine block vibrations caused from engine knock and sends a signal to the computer to retard ignition timing. Symptoms of failure include engine knock, and or loss of power. Recommended service is to check the connection and signal from the sensor or when engine knock or pinging develops. Quick and easy install
I bought this Walker ignition knock sensor to fix my car's performance issues, and it was super easy to install. Just a couple of bolts, and I was done. No more warning lights on the dashboard!

Works but had shipping issues
The knock sensor itself seems to work well, but I had a bit of a delay in shipping. It took a week longer than expected. Once I got it installed, my car is running smoother, though!

Not the right fit for my model
