I was hopeful for this Walker VVT solenoid, but it stopped functioning within a month of installation. My 2009 Forester is back to throwing codes. Really frustrated, as I thought it would last longer. Might have just gotten a bad unit.

Great replacement for my Subaru
Installed this Walker Products VVT solenoid on my 2008 Forester and it works like a charm. Super easy to swap out with just a few tools. I noticed an improvement in engine performance right away. Definitely worth the price!

A solid part but shipping was slow
The valve timing solenoid itself seems good and fits perfectly in my 2007 Subaru Forester. It resolved my engine light issue. Just wish the shipping was quicker—took a couple of extra days to arrive. Still, happy with the purchase!
