Wix Filter Mounting Bases are designed to mount the filter with the intake system of the engine. They are made of high strength materials which withstands high stress and deformation. These mounting bases can easily be installed and withstands high temperature.
I was really looking forward to using this Wix mounting base, but it didn't fit my filter properly and felt flimsy. Maybe I got a defective piece, but it wasn't what I expected for heavy-duty. Not sure if I would buy again.
