The XK tire changer does the job, but I had some trouble with the instructions that came with it. Setting it up took longer than expected, and the balancer occasionally requires recalibrating. Still, it's a good machine and handles most tires better than my old one.

Works Great for My Small Shop
I recently bought the XK New Model 988 tire changer for my garage, and it's been a solid addition. The combination of the tire machine and the 690 balancer works like a charm. The 110V power is perfect for my setup, and the rim clamp is easy to operate. It’s saved me so much time on tire changes!

Not as Sturdy as I Hoped
I was excited to use the XK 988, but it arrived with a dent in the rim clamp, which made setup frustrating. It works okay, but I expected better quality for the price. The automatic balancer does help, but I worry about its longevity after just a few uses.
