Bearing Installation Kits from Yukon Gear and Axle are a great purchase for shops, builders and home garage enthusiasts who require an install kit, but already have shims on hand.
I was excited about this Yukon kit, but my bearings started to fail after just a few months of use in my Ford. Maybe I got a bad batch? Not sure, but I expected better longevity from the LM102910 bearings.

Solid product for rebuilding differentials
I used the Yukon bearing install kit for rebuilding my Ford 9-inch differential, and it did the job nicely. The LM102910 bearings are holding up well under load. Would definitely buy again!

Decent kit, but instructions could be better
The Yukon install kit is decent, but the instructions were a bit confusing for the bearings. I got through it eventually, but I think clearer steps would help a lot of folks. The LM102910 bearings seem fine after installation!

Not impressed with the packaging
The installation kit worked okay for my Ford, but the packaging came damaged. I was worried something was broken, but luckily everything inside was fine. Still, a better box would help avoid these worries!
