I was excited to install this Yukon Gear Axle, but the limited-slip feature didn't perform as advertised. It seemed to slip more than I thought it would, especially during tight turns. Maybe I received a defective one? It’s frustrating because I hoped for better handling from my Ford. It's a hit or miss.

Best traction I've ever had!
I love the Yukon Gear Axle! The 28 spline limited-slip really digs in and helps my Ford take on trails like a champ. The aggressive preload springs keep everything tight and responsive. Definitely worth every penny for the improvement in traction and control. Totally satisfied!

Solid upgrade for my Ford
I recently installed the Yukon Gear Axle YDGF8 on my 2003 Ford, and it made a noticeable difference in handling. The 28-spline limited-slip really helps in off-road situations. Just make sure to follow the preload spring instructions closely, as they were a bit tricky for me!

Great performance but installation was tough
The Yukon Gear Axle with the aggressive preload springs works really well, but I had a hard time getting everything to fit correctly during installation. Once it was in, though, my truck feels way more stable, especially on slick surfaces. Just take your time if you're doing it yourself!
