Made of structural-grade 45# carbon steel, our tailgate shock boasts incredible strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Unlike its easily broken welded counterparts on the market, our high-strength mount plate is riveted for a longer service life.
This tailgate shock kit is compatible with the 4th generation Ram trucks: 1500 model Dodge Rams from 2009, 1500, 2500, and 3500 model Dodge Rams from 2010 to 2012, and 1500, 2500, and 3500 model Rams from 2013 to 2022. This Ram tailgate assist installs easily within minutes, requiring only a few wrenches and a little elbow grease.
